Why we like it
For the evenings when the heating is off but the sofa is calling. This 130 × 160 cm throw is soft flannel on one side and fluffy sherpa on the other, with thin heating wires you barely notice. There are six heat levels on a simple hand controller, and a timer that switches everything off after one to nine hours, so dozing off under it is no drama. Unplug the controller and the whole throw goes in the washing machine at 30 °C. The cable is 2.5 m, long enough to reach from the socket to your favourite corner.

Our flat is old and the living room is always the coldest. I put it on level 3, set the timer for two hours and watch my series. My husband laughed at first, now he asks who has the blanket tonight. Washed it once already at 30 degrees and it came out fine.
