A cordless chainsaw with a 30 cm (12") bar that goes through hard wood without you having to push. The chain has forged links with solid rivets and titanium-coated cutters that stay sharp about three times longer than bare steel, on a low-kickback profile. The 21 V brushless motor cuts logs up to 25 cm in one pass and up to 40 cm working around the trunk; under heavy load a thermal cut-out slows it down instead of letting it stall. Two 21 V 4.0 Ah batteries with a four-light gauge give 45–60 minutes of continuous cutting each, and the fast charger fills one in about 90 minutes and switches itself off: with the two taking turns you can work a whole day, up to 12 hours. The oiler feeds the chain by itself, with a level window and a sealed cap that does not leak when the saw is put away. The chain is tensioned with a knob, no tools, under a metal sprocket cover. The chain brake with hand guard stops the chain in a tenth of a second, and a two-step switch prevents accidental starts. It arrives assembled, in a moulded case with a second battery, a second chain, a 4 mm file with guide, 500 ml of chain oil, work gloves, safety goggles, a wrench and a brush, plus an illustrated quick guide with a short video. Every spare part is also sold on its own.
